Steam Summer Sale 2013 | 2013 Steam Summer Sale | Steam Summer Sale Details
Steam today kicked off its annual summer sale 2013, which will provide deep discounts on popular games until July 22. There are a ton of games likely to go on sale, but let’s take a quick peek at some of the best ones to look out for.
The summer sale from Steam, Valve's online game retailer, will offer three options for gamers: daily deals, flash sales, and community's choice. The Walking Dead games are a very different experience. It’s aboutzombies, but it’s basically the furthest thing from Dead Island you can imagine. The Walking Dead is about the characters and the decisions you make throughout the experience. The newest episode just came out, so you can expect to see the past ones come down in price during the sale. A pack of the previous episodes currently sells for $24.99. Under $10 seems possible. Daily deals will provide discounts on specific games for 24 hours. Now listed on Steam's website is Bioshock Infinite for $29.99, down from $59.99, complete with trading cards.
Defiance also gets a 66 percent discount, from $39.99 to $13.59, and Left for Dead 2 is 75 percent off at $4.99. For the next 23 hours, Steam will also offer discounts on Endless Space, Mars: War Logs, Hotline Miami, Scribblenauts Unlimited, Call of Juarez Gunslinger, Toki Tori 2+, and Don't Starve. There are also a number of new indie games in Steam that have a good shot at going on sale. Prison Architect is a good best since it’s currently $30. Fez just hit the PC, and it’s a very popular title that could do well on sale. Knights of Pen Paper +1, Gunpoint, and Rogue Legacy could also make a splash with even modest discounts.
