K.D. will visit his close friend, essayed by Avinash Sahijwani when a sudden death will happen in the family. The dadi of the house, played by Neena Cheema would have been murdered by someone in the house. And the suspicion will soon fall on K.D.’s friend as he would be a drunkard by nature. The onus will be on the very successful lawyer to save his friend and nab the real culprit.
The episodic will also feature Sonal Parihar of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain fame. She will play the caretaker of the grandmother who will meet with her death. At one point in the story progression, she will also be termed as a suspect as she will be the sole member not belonging to the family.
The story will also see the comeback of Madhavi Chopra Kumar, wife of seasoned actor Rajesh Kumar to TV after many years. She will play the elder bahu of the family. Actors Digvijay Purohit, Preeti of Raavi fame, will also be part of the story.
When contacted, Sonal told us, “It has been a wonderful outing shooting for Adaalat. I have been lucky enough to have got an opportunity to shoot with two biggies Ram Kapoor and Ronit Roy. I have heard lot of tales about how good a person Ronit Sir is, but when I shared screen space with him, I experienced it. I was initially nervous shooting with him, but he made me comfortable. If the entire cast had fun, smiled and laughed while shooting, it was because of the presence of Ronit Sir on the sets. He makes it very easy for his co-actors.”
We tried contacting Madhavi, but could not get through to her.
