Varun Dhawan and Deepika Padukone in the Hindi remake of The Fault In Our Stars
Bollywood's penchant of remaking Hollywood blockbusters will never ever end. News now trickles in that Homi Adjania will helm the desi remake of super hit Hollywood movie, The Fault In Our Stars.
Varun Dhawan and Homi's favourite Deepika Padukone have been signed on to essay the lead role in the Hindi remake.
Based on the bestselling novel of John Green, the movie, The Fault In Our Stars received high critical and commercial acclaim from all quarters. The movie revolves around the story of a young girl who is a cancer patient and is forced by her parents to attend a support group, where she meets and falls in love with a young boy, who also has cancer.
The Hindi adaptation will go on floors next year in March and both Varun and Deepika will reportedly be working on their looks to fit the storyline.
It would be interesting to see if Homi Adjania's take cuts ice with Indian audience too.
